Arthritis Auto Show

The 26^th Annual Auto Show will take place at Dublin Metro Center, Dublin, Ohio to benefit the Arthritis Foundation. This year the 80^th Anniversary of the "Model 'A' Ford" will be featured in a "Show within a Show" hosted by the Scioto Model 'A' Club celegrating it's 50^th Anniversary. "Show within a Show" trophies will be awarded by "Peoples Choice" with onde Grand Winner to be presented at the special Awards Parade. Show hours are Noon — 11:00 pm, and registration from 7:30 am — 11:30 am. Phil Dirt and the Dozers will entertain you from 7:30 pm till 11:30 pm. Wooden Keels and Vintage Wheels

This will be our fourth annual tour to Indian Lake for the I.L. Wooden Boat and Auto Show. We think our restored vehicles are pretty nice, well, wait until you see these wooden boats like Chris Craft, Larson, Garwood, etc. The boats tie up where the very popular I.L. Amusement Park once stood. All make vintage cars are welcome. We will eat lunch there at a fast food restaurant or chicken barbeque across the street.

Departure is from Bob Evans on Post Road just around the corner from the intersection of Frantz Road and Route 33 / 161 in Dublin at 9:30 am. We will caravan from there. For further information contact Tom Penty at 740.881.9666 (H) or 614.309.0689 (C).

50^th Anniversary Old Time Picnic

The Scioto Model 'A' Ford Club will be celebrating their 50^th Anniversary this year. As part of that celebration the 50^th Anniversary Committee is planning an Old Time Picnic at Past Time Park in Plain City, Ohio for members and invited guests only. Festivities will begin at 10:00 am and include a catered lunch at Noon by Der Dutchman ($5.00 per person), music by the Kettering Banjo Society "Ragtime Riverboat Rats", various games and photo's of your car under the 50^th Anniversary Banner. We have reserved a shelter house and grassy area to display our cars. Don't forget your folding chairs and camera.
